The Ouroboros symbol can be seen in many ancient cultures and has a number of interpretations. Some look upon the snake eating its tail as an emblem of the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth, while others prefer to interpret it as a love token, symbolising an eternal bond. We like these ophidian adornments both alone and as a unique addition to a stack.

The Golowan ring is cast in recycled sterling silver and finished in our Glasgow studio. Each piece is individually carved in wax by hand before being cast - no two rings will be alike.

Your jewellery will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which not only guarantees safe passage of your parcel to arrive the next working day, but also protects insures your piece (up to the value of £500) should anything go awry while in transit.

Caring for your piece: as with all jewellery, please wear with care. It's best not to wear it while swimming, bathing, cleaning, gardening or other rough work. Avoid coming into contact with soaps or chemicals that may be harsh. Applying hand lotion and spraying perfumes on pieces is also discouraged. Polish with a microfibre cloth and/or bleach and ammonia free polish.
